Nike Basketball
Harlem Team Branding
I designed the branding for Nike Basketball’s Harlem team for the Battle of the Boroughs tournament. Rather than starting with an existing typeface, I used one of my own custom alphabets I’ve been working on as the basis for the logo.

Branding applied to team jerseys

In addition, Nike will be releasing a pair of white AF1s with the Harlem logo laser etched into the back right side, as part of the NYC borough pack in August.

Independent Truck Co.
Graphic Design
Packaging Design
One of the most recognizable and respected brands in all of skateboarding, Independent Truck Co. has become an international label with full clothing and accesories lines in addition to the namesake hardgoods. The challenge with Independent was to appeal to the contemporary skater without alienating the long time supporters. We achieved this by creating fresh designs while maintaining a timeless look for sustained brand integrity.
The graphics adhere to an strict formula and overall look while deviating very slightly in the decorative details, flourishes and techniques. Creative packaging was another outlet for innovation and a way of adding new appeal to conventional products, such as the “back pocket” packaging for a bandana.
